Halloween is a-coming. When we are little, its about dressing up as our favorite cartoon characters or animals and parading around asking for candy. As we get older, its often about being scary and getting to see scary movies.
And now that we are adults, its about wearing slutty costumes and drinking ourselves stupid.
What? You disagree? Ok. For those of you with small children you are probably following around those mentioned in category one.
Me? I am stuck inside waiting out a "Frankenstorm." So I thought I would share my collection of Halloween cocktails to try. Maybe you can go out and order one since all the bars in NYC are closed...
La Llorona from Muy Bueno Cookbook is based on a spooky, romantic story about a woman crying over her murdered children. Sad, spooky, and involving dry ice. Epic!!!!!
Real Simple brings us the Vampire Kiss Martini which layers vodka, champagne, and Chambord. I want one right now. Who cares that it is 2pm?
This next one is way more for The CEO than me. It is called a Corpse Reviver (for serious) and apparently a few too many can un-revive the corpse once more. It comes from The Boozeniks...so drink with care.
So yeah, drink these...and, if you are in NYC, stay dry.
