So, I see people participating in this on many of the blogs I read and it seems kind of fun. So, I think I will join in the fun. I am starting with this week's topic because I like it.
So, without further ado:
10 Times You [I] Felt Grateful Last Week
I am taking this to mean in the past 7 days so here goes.
10. At Brooklyn Pride when I almost got in a fight with a horrible woman and she walked away...I mean, she spit on me first, but she left and that's what is important.
9. When The CEO took me to the Chocolate Room for cake and didn't even comment when I only ate 3 bites (it was really really good).
8. When I came into work on Monday and realized almost everyone else was out and I could get some work done.
7. Yesterday when I first realized that I had forgotten my umbrella and then realized that the rain had slowed enough that I could walk to the bus without getting drenched.
6. Seeing the photos of the amazing way that my city (Savannah) said goodbye to an incredible man. RIP Ben.
4. Out shopping in the rain on Friday, safe in the knowledge that I am with an awesome man who will go shopping with me in the rain.
3. When my friend sent me a picture of gardenias in bloom in Georgia and I closed my eyes and could almost smell them. I am so grateful for the wonderful place where I grew up.
2. When, after coming home from work after a really horrible day, a call from a certain not-so-little-anymore girl turned everything around.
1. Every morning when I wake up with The CEO and my two little dogs and know I am loved.
I have tons to be grateful for and this little exercise helped put them in perspective.

5. When the new AC arrived and the UPS man brought it up the stairs so we didn't have to kill ourselves trying.
