On Bad Moods, Homesickness, and Frogging

The CEO is reading The Book.  If you are from Savannah, you know that there is only one book that matters.  If you aren't, you'll have to take my word for it.  To answer his questions, I started re-reading it myself and man does it make me homesick.  Even for the heat.  Ok, well maybe not that.

There is just no other place on Earth like Savannah.

My mood has been pretty darned poopy lately.  Maybe it's being homesick, the constantly changing weather, my insane workload...any number of things but I feel sort of angry at the world.  Not "climb a clock tower" angry but "almost stab a woman in the eye with a knitting needle for being annoying" angry.  What gives?  I'm working out, eating well, doing yoga, sleeping as much as I can without missing deadlines and i still can't snap out of it.  Anybody have any "get out of a bad mood fast" tips?

Also, this morning, I realized the power of reading directions.  This morning, while knitting on the new sock, I realized that something didn't look right.  So I stopped to think and look back at the pattern and realized that I was a total victim of my own brain.  When I saw 3x3 ribbing, I started K3, P3ing away like a pro.  Too bad the pattern called for P3, K3.  Read, EK, read.  So we frog and then we start over.

Here's a photo of the yarn in its very special project holding bag...aka a Ziploc.  It's Cascade Heritage Sock Yarn in 5617 (Flamingo).  Ole!

Wish me luck on cast on two.

NoM!
