Recently...a recap

It really has been an insane couple of months.  The CEO and I have bitten off almost more than we can chew and somehow managed to deal.  I had to have a tiny unfill as I couldn't quite manage to keep food down.

And, through it all, I have managed to cook, knit, use new soaps...even shop a little.

We also went to New Orleans where we ate as much as we could and partied even more.  So it's not been a bad time, just a busy time.

To catch you up, here are some of the yummy foods you missed:

Braised Fennel...this was a little sweet but very very good.

A chicken that I injected with a briney balsamic vinaigrette and then marinated in something similar.  EPIC!

Cheddar Potato Soup.    I may have over cheddared this it was ok.


White asparagus and NY strip in the Ninja.  Not a success.  The steaks were ok and The CEO hated the white asparagus.
Not shown is Chicken with Artichokes, The CEO's new favorite dish; numerous attempts at pot roast; and things we've done with boneless beef short ribs.  As you can see, we aren't starving.

Maybe tomorrow I will show you what I've been knitting.
