9 September 2012 - Buffalo Chicken Dip

More football foodz!

The CEO decided that nothing could be better than buffalo chicken dip when he saw the pictures on the Brown Eyed Baker blog.

So I adapted a bit and went for it!

Ingredientes:

4 chicken breasts, boiled and shredded
12 oz hot sauce
Two 8 oz packages of cream cheese
2 cups cheese (I used half monterrey jack and half cheddar)
crumbled blue cheese
16 oz bottle of blue cheese dressing

Departures:

The recipe calls for Ranch, but The CEO (as previously mentioned) doesn't really like it plus it was in the wontons.  So I thought "blue cheese is better with buffalo chicken anyway" and went for it.

Dirreciones:

Preheat the Oven to 350.

Put the shredded chicken in a baking dish and add the hot sauce.  In the meantime, cut the cream cheese into pieces and put it in a sauce pan with the blue cheese dressing.  Cook on low heat until everything is melted and integrated.  Pour it over the chicken.  Then, but the shredded cheese on top.

It will look like this:

I don't know why this is sideways!
Put the whole thing in the oven for about 45 minutes.  Take it out, put some crumbled blue cheese on top and return to the oven for another 5 minutes or so.  Remove, cool and serve it with some chips and veggies for dipping.

This isn't pretty but it tastes good.
This is spicy.  But good.  I gave the dog a bite and he drank like a gallon of water.  But the taste is delicious.

This is the ultimate football food.
